What happens if my properties get stolen?

Should the SelectaDNA marked properties be found be the police, they will be identify the owner right on the spot with the micro dots in the paint and check the owner's id number with the central database.
Once it is found, police and Bulldog Hungary Ltd. will work together to identify the true owner.

Can SelectaDNA paint be removed?

Since the paint does not have a natural solution, so it can only be removed with damaging.
Even if those micro dots are removed from the surface of the object, some traces of the paint will always remain. This way it can uniquely be identified in a forensics lab, that the Hungarian Police can do in the course of days.

What kind of objects is it usually used for?

Valuable objects in homes, mobile tools (laptop, phone, PDA), PC's for companies and furniture, bicycles, car parts, motorbikes, ships and accessories, boats, school properties, bank entrances, ATM machines, convictions in police covert actions.

How does it prevent theft?

The paint is the mix of such existing and new technologies, developed by the producer, that is capable of connecting the criminals to the crime scenes. It causes a lot of trouble to identify the original owner once they find an object at a criminal's nest and the object never makes it back. SelectaDNA will end this. Once criminals will know the power of the paint and spray, they will realize that the value of market objects will fall to 0, since they become impossible to sell on the black market. This decrease is 50-85% on average.

Can the paint be copied?

The process of production creates a chemical code. The design of the making is certified by the Secure by Design (UK) initiative, which shows that a security product can meet a high standards of quality. In order to copy the substance one needs special and expensive analysis and machinery, plus a long time and even that can only bring approximate results. The producer protects its customers that even a previously registered code cannot be replicated in the factory.
